SWING FORE MIRACLES ON THE GOLF COURSE TO HELP US FIGHT CHILDHOOD ILLNESSES AT CHILDREN'S HEALTH℠

The Play Yellow movement was championed by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus to raise money through the golf industry for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals like Children’s Health.

Play Yellow is a widely supported initiative in the golf world and boasts the support of well-known golf entities such as the PGA TOUR, Callaway and PGA TOUR Superstore.

Last year, nearly 40 golf-loving companies gathered at TopGolf for Children’s Health’s signature Play Yellow event, Swing Fore Miracles presented by Neighborhood Credit Union.

More than 200 participants helped us raise over $172,000 for the expansion of Children’s Medical Center Plano, which includes a new eight-story tower housing expanded specialty care programs to serve kids and families north of Dallas.

The nationally-recognized golf event is now a model for other pediatric hospitals to fundraise for their community’s children.

In 2017, PGA TOUR professional John Senden's son, Jacob, was diagnosed with an aggressive, malignant brain tumor the size of a golf ball. The doctors at Children’s Health saved Jacob’s life after an emergency brain surgery at Children’s Medical Center Dallas.

Now an adult, Jacob and his dad, John, are Play Yellow Ambassadors and serve as advocates on and off the green for the life-saving work happening at Children’s Health. John even sported a co-branded Play Yellow and Children’s Health golf bag while playing on the PGA Champions TOUR.
